Description This service allows customers to obtain a Permit for a planned/upcoming event within DDA Jurisdiction (limited to Free zones areas - TECOM areas only)

     Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.

     Friday from 7:30 am to 12 pm.

Service Fees
  • Non-Commercial Event Permit - An event/activity without marketable or commercial objective and emphasis. (e.g_ National day celebrations, Government sponsored events, Events supporting special causes, volunteering activities, etc.): AED 500 + Structural Fees AED 1,000 (if applicable)
  • Commercial Event Permit: AED 5,000 + Structural Fees AED 1,000 (if applicable)

An additional fee of AED 10 as “Knowledge Dirham” and AED 10 as “Innovation Dirham” is applicable per transaction
Required Documents
  • Event Permit Request (in case of applying through customer service center)
  • Soft copy of Structural drawings and calculation stamped by specialized contractor (in DWF format; applicable for events where temporary construction is involved)
  • Event Organizer/contractor Trade License
  • Detailed layout showing location of all stages and other facilities (soft copy)
  • NOC from Master Developer
  • NOC from relevant Authorities
  • Event Involving Temporary Structure(s): Risk Assessment, HSE Plan and Risk Compliance method statement covering all activities (for all stages mobilization, operation and dismantling)
  • Event Agenda
  • Emergency and evacuation Plan
Notes Advertising Permit application should be submitted in case of using outdoor Advertising – e.g. directional signage, banners, flags etc.)

  • Login to DDA portal (Zoning e-Services)
  • Create new project for Event or enter an existing Project Number for re-submissions
  • Select Event Permit application
  • Fill all required fields
  • Upload required documents
  • Submit the application

  • Payment of applicable fees through online payment portal
  • E-mail confirmation of submitted application will be received by applicant

  • Registered applicant will receive Authority feedback via email on or before the follow-up date
